Civil construction that meets heavy-duty requirements

KSBR’s experience, expertise and resources make us a reliable partner for extensive and demanding civil construction projects. We’ve refined our civil construction design and implementation practices to a high level – particularly through numerous wind power projects – and can apply them flexibly to various types of projects.

Our KSBR Infra business unit provides technical infrastructure and earthworks services for projects like roads and real estate, networks and power lines, and underground and above-ground urban infrastructure.

For civil construction, we mainly use new, large and high-quality equipment, with excavators ranging in size from 25 to 74 tonnes, for example. We also have expertise in concrete and earthworks, enabling our work to meet stringent safety and quality standards. We’re a prompt and solution-oriented partner, which is reflected in our efficient project completion.

A strong example of our civil construction management is the Lestijärvi wind farm, where a total of 69 wind turbines are planned. Our total scope included the wind farm’s roads, lifting areas, wind turbine foundations, the farm’s medium-voltage and telecommunications network, three 110 kV substations and one 400 kV substation.
