New CEO for KSBR
Marko Leppänen, the director of KSBR’s industrial construction business sector, has been appointed CEO as of 1 May 2025. The company’s founder and long-time CEO, Tuomas Skantz, will continue as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Leppänen is a civil engineer and has worked at KSBR since his student days. He has been the director responsible for industrial construction business for the past few years and has previously worked in positions of a site manager and a project manager. Leppänen has also been involved in starting up the company’s project operations in Sweden.
“Marko is a natural choice to continue in the management of the company and I can happily hand over the duties of CEO to him. The company is in good financial shape and we are well prepared to continue into the future. The past years have given me a lot and this is the right time for me to step aside from the daily operations. There are also plenty of duties in the role of Chairman of the Board,” says Tuomas Skantz.
As CEO, Leppänen intends to continue the corporate culture built by the company’s shareholders, with its own competent personnel at the heart of all operations.
“The business sectors and operating methods of KSBR have become very familiar to me over the years. It’s great to be able to continue developing the company’s operations together with our personnel and customers,” Leppänen states.
