Postipuisto parking, Helsinki

The first parking garage in the Postipuisto residential area was completed in September 2021 at the intersection of Metsäläntie and Veturikatu in Pasila, Helsinki. KSBR won the competition for its design and construction with a proposal called “The Oat Engine”, designed by L Architects Ltd.
The parking facility has 434 parking spaces across five floors. Storage facilities for the City of Helsinki’s property maintenance department were also built on the lower floor of the facility.
The Postipuisto project was the first to be carried out by KSBR in the City of Helsinki as a turnkey contract. The developer was Helsinki’s Housing Production Bureau.
