Rasakangas wind farm, Kurikka

KSBR built the infrastructure for an 8-turbine wind farm at Rasakangas, in Kurikka, for Ilmatar Energy Oy. 

KSBR was responsible for the design of the wind farm, construction of road and lifting areas, as well as providing foundations and cabling as a turnkey contract. 

The state-of-the-art wind turbines at Rasakangas were supplied by Dutch company Vestas. The wind farm will produce energy for the Finnish electrical grid, with a nominal capacity of 48 MW.
